KENYAN COFFEE
A unique journey of flavors from the heart of Africa
Let’s start the week with a delicious, healthy dessert that combines the refined flavors of Kenyan coffee with the tropical sweetness of mango. Coffee from this East African country is renowned worldwide for its bold and complex flavors, often reminiscent of citrus, berries, or even subtle wine notes. Adding it to the dessert highlights the natural sweetness of the fruit while adding depth and intensity.
Most of the coffee produced in Kenya is Arabica, considered one of the highest quality coffees in the world. Grown in the highlands of Kenya, where ideal climatic conditions and the traditional wet processing method, known as “Kenyan washed“, help bring out the purity and clarity of the flavor. Thanks to this method, Kenyan coffee is known for its remarkable depth of aroma, making it the perfect complement to the dessert’s delicate flavors.
Our dessert combines the sweetness of mango, the rich taste of Kenyan coffee coated in chocolate, with the slight tang of yogurt and the crunchiness of granola. Each element plays its part – the coffee brings a bold flavor, the mango refreshes with its natural sweetness, and the yogurt and granola complete the dish, striking the perfect balance between sweetness and acidity.
